Hypnosis is a form of therapy in which one is deeply relaxed on a physical level, thereby allowing one to be mentally more alert and open to suggestion than in normal states of awareness. Contrary to popular belief and media depictions of hypnotized persons, one has tremendous control over which hypnotic suggestions to act upon or reject. Ms. Haberman uses the benefits of hypnosis, upon a client's consent, in
order to help clients with issues such as, but not limited to, relaxation,
stress reduction, pain management, worry, anxiety, overcoming fears,
enhancing self confidence, self image, overcoming shyness, assertiveness,
depression, insomnia, improved performance, and smoking cessation.
